Google Antigravity free plan after Nov 2: Claude leaves, Gemini 3.8 Flash stays

By Quotadex Research Desk · Published 2026-11-01 · Last verified 2026-11-01

TL;DR

On November 2, 2026, Google removes Claude Sonnet 4.6, Claude Opus 4.6 and GPT-OSS-120b from Antigravity. They were the Claude and GPT models on the free plan. Free keeps Gemini 3.8 Flash as the agent model, unlimited Tab completions and a quota that refreshes weekly. Claude after that means Sonnet 5.5 or Opus 5.5 on a paid (non-trial) Google AI Pro, Ultra or Enterprise plan. Full plan details: Google Antigravity.

What leaves the free plan on Nov 2

Claude Sonnet 4.6 (thinking)YesRemoved
Claude Opus 4.6 (thinking)YesRemoved
GPT-OSS-120bYesRemoved
Gemini 3.8 FlashYesStays

Google's models page marks all three with "Will be removed on November 2, 2026." GPT-OSS-120b goes from every plan, not only Free. The Claude 4.6 models also go from Google AI Pro.

What the free plan keeps

Google publishes no exact number for the free quota. It tracks how much work the agent does, so simple tasks get more prompts than complex ones, and Google says limits can change with capacity. You can see what's left on the Settings page.

Where Claude goes

PlanClaude Sonnet 5.5 / Opus 5.5Quota refresh
Free & Google AI PlusNoWeekly
Google AI ProYes, non-trial subscriptions onlyEvery 5 hours, until a weekly limit
Google AI UltraYesEvery 5 hours, highest limits
EnterpriseYesGemini Enterprise terms

A Google AI Pro trial won't keep Claude: Google says Claude 5.5 on Pro is for non-trial subscriptions only, and you have to submit a request to switch from the trial to paid. Pro and Ultra users can also pay for extra usage with purchased AI credits. Free users can't, and there's no bring-your-own-key option on any plan.

Should free users switch?

If you used Antigravity's free plan mainly for Claude, that ends on Nov 2. You can stay on Gemini 3.8 Flash for free, move to a paid plan, or try another free option from our free AI coding tools list.
